Long Gully in Healesville is a private property with 4 Dowhill tracks. Perfect for Downhill racing, the property will be converted in the 17th of August into a skills clinic for our up and coming downhill racers.
The Fat Tyre Flyers skills day is an annual event to provide all riders of any level with the skills they need to ride downhill.
Some of Victoria’s fastest and most experienced Downhill racers will be there to give you all the tips and tricks needed to build your confidence and get you going fast. Whether you are a first timer, a intermediate racer or you’re up there with the fast guys, there will be something to take away from a skills clinic with experienced downhill racers.
The day will focus on promoting something new. Taking the next step in your riding ability. The aim will be to get young riders to look outside the square and understand how to adjust both their riding style and tactics to ensure they can conquer downhill tracks...fast.
A range of skills will be demonstrated like, cornering, rock gardens, jumping, fitness and nutrition, and race speed. A great chance to learn to ride safely and fast.
