New Shoes - 661 Descend Taki

Matt's been testing out the Descend shoes over the past few weeks to see if they're a real contender to the 5.10 Crown.... The short answer is YES!
There are a few key differances between the 5.10 impact and the Descender:
Grip is not one of them, The Taki soles grip just as well as the stealth rubber used on 5.10's Impact and because of the Descend's convex sole it holds on even better to a convex pedal.
The Descend is a mid cut, it sits somewhere between a high and a low Impact and it has a great heel cub that prevents your heel slipping.
The toung is elastacised to keep it centered and they've used flat laces which won't come undone.

At $150 they are a great alternative to 5.10 Impacts. Expect to see these poping up at the races.
