At Yarra Valley Cycles we have a great range of middle range Flat Bar/Hybrid Bikes for Hire, perfect for Riding the Warburton Rail Trail or Venturing out to the Yarra Valley Wine Region. Bikes in the Hire Fleet are 700c Flat Bar Rail Trail Bikes, Perfect for On or Off Road Terrain. Each Bike or Group booking comes with its own repair Kit and bike locks. Helmets also Included...

All bikes come with a pump, spare tube tyre levers and a multi tool.Long term hire is available, please contact us to discuss pricing. Australian law requires that you wear a helmet when riding a bike on public land.

Get out and have a Look at the Warburton Trail, Its a great ride at 40km (one way) and is perfect for any level of rider, whether it be entry level or someone looking to get a few k's in whilst on holidays. The Warby Trail takes riders through the heart of the Yarra Valley and shows them some of what Australia has to Offer. The Flat Plains of Yarra Junction Rolling in to the surrounding Mountains is a treat for anyone.

A recent study by the Australian Productivity Commission and the Ratail Traders Association found that many retail stores in Australia were shutting their doors, a vast majority of these in the Bicycle and Photography Industry. There are many reasons why this has become the case, in particular the rise of Online International Sales fuelled by Our AUD vs the US Dollar, Ease of technology, shipping and Our Population (ie Buying Power), plus and a raft of other issues including the lack of Government Enforced Import protection measures, the high cost of Australian Postage services and Credit Card protection for Australian Businesses selling overseas (Australian Banks Fail to provide protection to Australian Retailers, therefore narrowing down the potential Australian Market Share to those only in Australia). With This in mind, we have recently seen many Australian Retailers in the bike Industry Shut their doors, this WILL happen more should these trends continue!!!

ALL Local bike shops are feeling the pinch at present, even those like our own have had to review spending on Race Sponsorship and Expensive Race support. So Next time you need something, give your local bike shop a go FIRST, we will endevour to give you the BEST Price we can, even with all the odds stacked against us, we will try our best to compete on price, and "whilst" we have staff, we will definately offer you the best service.
